My friend Tim Buckwalter is curating an art show in LA called “My Certain Fate“. Quoting from the show’s site:
Combining photography, painting, sculpture and text-based works in My Certain Fate, Buckwalter has crafted an exhibition that mimics the dynamic behind the mix tape …
I can’t make it, but you’re in LA on May 14, you should go to the opening. It’s at Pharmaka, 101 West Fifth Street in Los Angeles.

I made a t-shirt. It will likely be funny only to web nerds.

More correctly: I had an idea, and co-Mule [Amber](http://weheartprints.com/) actually turned it into a usable design, and now it’s [for sale](http://store.muledesign.com/shirts/koolaid.php) in the Mule Store.

I didn’t stay at Burning Man for the burning of the temple on Sunday. Next time I certainly will. A friend who did stay for it described it thusly: “it was fucking amazing. quiet and very slow”. I just bet it was. Look at the bigger sizes to get a better idea of what’s going on. There isn’t really a reference for the size of the temple comlex, but on the left hand side of the picture as you’re looking at it, the smallest temple all the way out had a roofline that was probably eight to ten feet high.
